Both Trident R.F.C. Sides Advance into the State Finals!

The Tridents will play in the Division II State Championship match and the Second XV's in the Orange Cup Finals.

On Saturday April 8th, the Tridents First XV's defeated the Orlando Griffins at Charles Hadley Park 60-24 in a State Semifinal match. The Tridents won with a relentless, well balanced offensive attack. Nine tries were scored by eight different players. Man of the Match was Andy Kozak. The Tridents have not lost a game in Florida in over two years. Not only did they advance to the State Championship Finals, but they also qualified for the Southern Regionals to be held at Ormond Beach, FL on May 6th and 7th.

Following the conclusion of the Division II match, the Second XV's played in the Orange Cup Semifinal also against the Orlando Griffins. At the end of the first half, the Tridents has a slim lead with a score of 11-0. In the second half, it was a different story with the Tridents pouring on the offense. The final score was 35-15. The Tridents never trailed. Man of the Match was Nacho Ballve.

Next up for both sides is the State Championships on April 22nd, 2017. Matches will be held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center's Polo Fields in Wellington, FL. Kickoff times are TBD.
